About the Role: The Key Accounts Manager is responsible for managing strategic client relationships and driving sales growth with key pharmaceutical accounts such as hospitals, pharmacy chains, distributors, and healthcare institutions. The role focuses on revenue generation, account development, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction while expanding the company’s market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key pharmaceutical clients including hospitals, distributors, and pharmacy chains while acting as the primary point of contact for major accounts.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales within existing accounts and implement strategies to expand revenue and market share.
- Conduct regular meetings with clients to understand their business needs and maintain long-term partnerships.
- Educate clients about the company’s product portfolio, pricing strategies, and promotional schemes to support informed purchasing decisions.
- Ensure smooth order processing by coordinating with supply chain and logistics teams for timely product deliveries.
- Guide clients regarding ordering procedures, product availability, and ongoing promotional programs.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback to identify potential growth opportunities.
- Provide market insights and recommendations to management for improving sales strategies and product positioning.
- Maintain account performance reports, prepare sales forecasts, and track key performance metrics for management review.
✅ Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or Marketing
- MBA in Sales/Marketing (preferred)
- 1-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, B2B sales, or key account management.
